This privacy policy describes how Pooey ("the App"), developed by CrownLabs, handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

By using Pooey, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

Pooey collects the following types of information that you voluntarily enter into the App:

• Digestive health logs, including Bristol Stool Scale entries, timestamps, and notes
• Food diary entries and FODMAP tracking data
• Pet companion progress data
• App preferences and settings

3. How Your Data Is Stored

Your privacy is our top priority. Here is how we store your data:

• All data is stored on-device using iOS local storage
• Optional iCloud sync uses Apple's end-to-end encryption
• There is no server-side storage of your health data
• CrownLabs does not operate any cloud databases that store your personal information

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be explicitly clear about what we do not collect:

• We do not collect personally identifiable information
• We do not collect location data
• We do not use analytics SDKs that track individual users
• We do not collect device identifiers for tracking

5. Third-Party Services

Pooey integrates with a minimal number of third-party services, all controlled by Apple:

• Apple App Store — for processing purchases and subscriptions
• Apple iCloud — optional, user-controlled sync between your devices

Pooey does not use any of the following:

• No third-party analytics services
• No advertising networks
• No data brokers or data resellers

6. In-App Purchases

All purchases and subscriptions within Pooey are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. CrownLabs does not collect, process, or store any payment information, including credit card numbers, billing addresses, or Apple ID credentials.

You can manage your subscriptions at any time through your iPhone or iPad by navigating to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

7. Health Data Disclosure

Pooey collects digestive health data that you manually enter into the App. This includes bowel movement logs, food diary entries, and related notes. This data is classified as health data under applicable laws and regulations.

• All health data remains on your device at all times
• Health data is never shared with CrownLabs or any third party
• Health data is never sold, rented, or disclosed to anyone
• If you use iCloud sync, Apple's end-to-end encryption protects your data in transit and at rest
• CrownLabs has no technical ability to access your health data

8. Data Retention and Deletion

You are in full control of your data at all times:

• Data persists on your device until you choose to delete it
• Delete individual entries at any time within the App
• Delete all data at once by going to Settings > Delete All Data within the App
• Uninstalling Pooey removes all locally stored data from your device
• iCloud data can be managed through iOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud

9. Children's Privacy

Pooey is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has used the App, please note that all data is stored locally on their device and can be deleted by removing the App. No personal information is transmitted to CrownLabs or any external server.

10. Your Rights

Because Pooey stores all data locally on your device and CrownLabs does not hold any of your personal data, your rights are straightforward:

• Access: All your data is already accessible within the App at any time
• Deletion: Delete your data within the App or by uninstalling Pooey
• Portability: Export your health reports as PDF documents to share or save
• No account required: Pooey does not require an account, so no personal data is held by CrownLabs

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.

Continued use of Pooey after any changes to this policy constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
